You can work on different elements of the document from different palettes and color models. Ultimately, however, all colors must be printed with process and spot color inks. Colors defined in the RGB or HSB models are translated automatically into CMYK (process color) when printing. As for spot colors, you can convert them to CMYK at printing time. For more information, see "Working with color" on page 303.
• Pay close attention to the number of colors used, especially when you are importing clipart. Make sure you only use the colors available in the method you have chosen (that is, process color or spot color).
