To create a pattern using symbols

1 Click View, Dockers, Symbols.

2 Choose a symbol category from the list box.

3 Choose a symbol from the Sample window.

4 Enable the Tile check box.

5 Drag the symbol to the Drawing Page.

To change the row and column spacing

1 Follow steps 1 to 4 from the previous procedure.

2 Click the Tile Options button.

3 Do one of the following:

• Type values in the Horizontal and Vertical boxes to specify the spacing between symbols.

• Enable the Identical Values check box to maintain equal spacing around a symbol.

4 Click OK.

5 Drag the symbol to the Drawing Page.
