1 Select the object with the Pick tool.
2 Drag the object to a new place in your drawing.
• When you drag an object, the values in the Object(s) Position box on the Property Bar indicate the new coordinates of the object.
^ • You can constrain the object to horizontal or vertical movements by holding down CTRL as you drag the object.
• To position an object exactly where you want it, you can choose to snap the object to a grid, guideline, or other object. For information on snapping objects to grids, guidelines, and objects, see "Using the rulers, grid, and guidelines" on page 54.
