Working with the Mixer Palette

When I was a kid, my mother would dress me up as a French painter for Halloween. The costume consisted of a painted-on mustache, a trench coat (don't ask me why), and a palette for mixing colors. Painter includes its own version of a mixing palette. The Mixer palette is an amazing tool that mimics a real-life mixing palette. You can create your own custom colors by mixing different colors. When you use the Mixer palette in conjunction with the Colors palette, only your imagination can limit the colors you can produce.

1 * Click on Window, The Window menu will appear.

2* Click on Show Mixer. The

Mixer palette will appear, (If only Hide Mixer appears in the Window menu, it means the Mixer palette is already open, and you ¿an proceed to Step 3.)

3. Click on the Mixer arrow to expand the Mixer palette, if it's not already expanded.

11li Click Qn the Eyed ropper tool. The tool will be selected. The Eyßdropp&r lüül allows you to select a specific color you have treated so you can lisö it om your canvas.
